Zama Glamping Units
These quaint little glamping units have just about all you need!
Enjoy our community, and the Campground & Park facility without bringing an RV! Sites have ample parking, firepit, concrete picnic table. Free firewood is available at the Campground. All you have to bring is your personal belongings, food and bedding, towels, loonies for the shower and bug spray!
These summer use cabins are refurbished/renovated forestry tent frames (which you can still see the original colour on one area, can you find it?)
Complete with power, a queen size bed with pillow top mattress, mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, electric fan and heater and a BBQ w/burner on the deck!
Walking distance to the coin operated shower unit that has washrooms as well. Enjoy swimming in the pond, fishing in the stocked trout pond (catch & release), 9-hole disc golf course, horseshoes and our long summer nights! Smoking, including vaping are not allowed in the cabins. Cabin 9 (Orange door) has room in the site for a tent as well.
Year Round Cabins
Year Round Cabin that is a wonderful getaway for a couple of days, or even an extended stay!
Screened in deck, full kitchen, comfortable queen bedroom, full bathroom with shower, spacious double ended loft, with two twin beds.
All bedding is included for the queen and twin beds.
There is room in loft for a blow up bed, but please bring your own along with bedding.
Heating and air conditioning to provide comfort in all weather.
You will only have to bring your personal belongings and food/drink to enjoy your stay!
Included in the rate is a capacity of 2 Guests (over 16), more than that is an additional $20 per adult to a max of six guests total (Max of 4 over the age of 16). Must be at least one adult over 21 in the Cabin.
We had help with the construction of our Cabins by Travel Alberta, many volunteer hours and some amazing contractors!
Full-Serviced Camp Sites
We are located right in the community, next to the fishing pond and park!
We offer 22 full-serviced sites; Pull through, back-in and a few seasonal; and two large sites have power only. All sites are equipped with gravel pads, fire pits and picnic tables.

Don’t have a RV.. no worries we have a site, fully equipped with a family bunk model RV available for you to rent!
Campground Features: 24-hour coin operated Showers, Washrooms/Outhouses, Laundry by donation, fenced in Playground, 9-hole Disc Golf Course, Horseshoe pits. Stocked fish pond (Rainbow Trout, catch & release).
Swimming pond with dock and giant slide and sand beach. Bring Your Floaties!

A gem of a spot located in the in the center of the friendly little community of Zama City. Everything you need to enjoy a weekend, a day trip or extended stay options while working in the area. Go fishing at the stocked pond, swim or float at the swimming hole. During your stay you might even see some of our Hay-Zama wild bison herd!
We are an ATV friendly community, so feel free to bring your machines and explore the area. Coin (loonie) operated showers, laundry (2025) playground, horseshoes, picnic shelter, Alberta’s most northern disc golf course (listed on udisc.com). We have two types of sites available… more intimate back-in treed full-serviced sites, larger drive through full-serviced full serviced sites with lots of room to park.
Two glamping cabins were added in 2021, and a Rental Bunk Model RV in 2024! All you need is food and your bedding and loonies for the shower!
New in 2023… we have added space to our facility by expanding to the south and adding two fully serviced Year-Round cabins, that offer fully screened in decks, kitchens, cozy queen bedroom and two expansive lofts, outfitted with everything you need to enjoy a getaway with family, friends or that special someone!
In 2024 we added a Giant Swim Slide to the pond… and hosted our 1st Ever Float Fest! Float Fest is returning in 2025 on August Long Weekend.
We can accomodate larger events, such as weddings, corporate retreats and family reunions, we have a fully serviced Community Hall with Commercial Kitchen, or utilize the Park Shelter with BBQ’s.
For longer term stays you can access on-site laundry services, as well as the delivery service weekdays from High Level, using Commonwealth Freight! They deliver everything from groceries to parts! We also strive to help our Fall Hunting parties out with additional parking spaces and the ability to set up your own wall-tents and other amenities.
Winter Cabin use is becoming popular as a home-base for Bistcho Lake Fishing. Ample room to park sled-trailers.
Float Fest 2024
